Whether you’re joining us for just a few hours or spending a whole weekend with us, we will customize a horse packed schedule for your group. Activities of your choosing include riding lessons, trail rides, hay rides, camp fires, unmounted horse theories and even barn chores if you want to roll your sleeves up and feel the satisfaction that we feel daily in caring for these wonderful animals.
Come join us for our Mother/Daughter Riding Weekends, Spring Break Riding Camps and Girls Riding Weekends that take place every spring and fall. These camps are jam packed with horsey fun including ring lessons, trail rides, hay rides, campfires and more. Spring Break Camps and Girls Riding Weekends are for girls ages 7-16. Daughters ages 5 and up are welcome at our Mother/Daughter weekends. These camps are a great way to try us out for the first time, or come back if you simply can’t wait until next summer to visit your furry friends!
We offer riding lessons for all ages. In addition to mounted instruction, lessons include grooming and tacking your horse or pony, as well as good horsemanship and safety practices when working with these large animals. Lessons are scheduled on an individual basis. Most of our students ride once or twice a week on weekdays, but we are able to accommodate intermittent lessons when scheduled far enough in advance. Spots fill very quickly, and returning students have first priority.
1 hour private lesson (ages 7 – adult) — $40 per person
1 hour group lesson (2 or more riders ages 7-adult) – $30 per person
30 minute private lesson (ages 6 and under) – $30 per munchkin
Our guides would love to take you out on our scenic trails! Every session begins in a ring to make sure that you are comfortable and to teach you the necessary cues specific to riding our horses. Once ready, you are able to enjoy a guided trail ride through our many wooded trails. All participants must wear approved riding helmets and boots with a hard sole and a heel (you are welcome to borrow ours) and long pants. We can include grooming and tacking as part of your session if you would like to do it yourself, or we can have the horses ready to ride for you.
75 minutes (ages 7 – adult) – $50 per person
